In order for a HR professional provide the best skills and services possible, they must be able to adapt to a range of roles. The role of the technical specialist is how an HR professional applies their intensive, specific knowledge regarding aspects such as legislation or taxation to address business needs. The role of the advisor allows a HR professional to develop and implement effective HR solutions to any issues that a business is facing, in situations such as employee disputes. The role of the strategic planner provides a pragmatic approach to HR solutions, in which problems are recognised and dealt with before they arise. Leadership and management roles will requirement management a workforce, project or leading a team strategically.
